Trent and Vicky, the Owners of MBS (Est. 2002) are passionate about shaping sustainable and healthy spaces in the built environment.

MBS actively improve NABERS ratings, drives cost efficiencies, and reduces its environmental impact. MBS initiates water-saving projects, reducing annual bills by 35%, and supports local charities like PCYC Redfern by repurposing furniture and bicycles. MBS is successful in securing local Council sustainability grants and actively participates in initiatives like food waste management, contributing to city-wide sustainability efforts. MBS recognises and values the unique contributions of its staff, making us an outstanding company. We prioritise asset management, Owner experience and stakeholder well-being.

The MBS Team has decades of technical experience in the property industry in Facility Management, Maintenance and Construction Projects such as World Square, Broadway Shopping Centre, Pyrmont Apartments, Westmead Hospital, Chatswood Mandarin Centre, Pitt Street Apartments, Radisson Blue as well as Sydney’s major link roads. MBS Property Care has provided maintenance services for Strata buildings, real estate agents, developers, and construction companies in Australia and the UK for over 25 years.

The Team also benefits from decades of diverse senior-level management experience in building management, emergency services, government, not-for-profit, and education.

MBS manages assets valued at $500 million in Sydney and is committed to assisting Owners in residential, commercial and mixed-strata spaces.

We are friendly, professional, competent, and experienced in building management, operations management, CAPEX project facilitation, finance, budgeting, reporting, research, technological integration, and preventative maintenance planning. Our friendly and competent Maintenance Team specialises in minor maintenance, repair work, cleaning, and gardens. We have an inclusive company culture and have maintained the same staff for many years, which reassures residents when they regularly see familiar and friendly faces.

The MBS team possesses decades of international experience in facility and building management, construction, defects, property development, stakeholder involvement, and social research. The team understands how each building operates ensuring accountability to Owners by providing reports & attending Strata Committee meetings. MBS is experienced in coordinating the transition between Developers and the Strata Community. MBS also specialises in retrofitting including Security, LED, Lift, Air conditioning, Amenities and Building Upgrades, defects facilitation, and reporting. MBS has an established network of base building contractors.

Environmental & Social Impact

MBS prepares climate-ready assets and fosters resilient and empowered communities living in defect-free buildings. MBS focuses on identifying opportunities for efficiency savings, improved sustainability, and the health and well-being of our buildings and their occupants and integrate these principles into everything we do. Our philosophy is to measure, monitor, and reduce in all aspects of asset management. We work with local Councils and partners, to ensure the adoption of sustainable practices and to tap into available grants. MBS has introduced LED light replacement programs, water-saving projects, free hot water-saving service replacements, sensor lights, rainwater tanks, irrigation systems, solar hot energy systems, HWS solar systems, recycling and waste management, energy consumption monitoring as well as using environmental products. MBS supports charitable work such as the Cancer Council, Shine Disability Services, Biala Indigenous Education, Calais Refugee Community, and is a UNICEF Global parent.

Transparency & Accountability

Stakeholder involvement is key to business operations and tailoring services to client needs. MBS gets the work done quickly and efficiently. Our friendly maintenance team and accredited contractors are on site or nearby to respond quickly in an emergency 365 days a year because our service is built on established relationships and good communication. MBS monitors By-Laws in liaison with the Strata Manager, Agents, and Strata Committees and translates new Strata Law into practice. MBS provides quarterly and annual building reports for the Strata Committee and attends Strata Committee meetings. MBS uses an integrated Resident and Building management platform that facilitates real-time communication and booking systems to make a maintenance request or order new keys.

MBS takes asset security and personal data seriously and works with professionals in the field to ensure systems and processes are up to date. MBS ensures that residents are safe and can trust our Building Management and Property Care Teams, who have worked with us for over 10 years.

Value for Money

We pride ourselves on our ability to save strata committees and owners money through preventative measures, expertise, and care. MBS continually identified cost efficiencies by reviewing base contractors, monitoring utilities, accessing grants, and implementing efficient processes and procedures, continually monitoring, reviewing, and reporting against Preventive Maintenance and Capital Works Plans. MBS saves clients an average of $50,000 in the first six months of management.
